iACT’s Education in Emergencies Specialist, Kelsey Dalrymple, will participate in an upcoming panel during the 63rd annual UN Commission on the Status of Women.

Using robust research from many fields, including economics, recent reports from the UN, UNICEF, and NGOs and illustrations from the field, experts in human development and global migration will explain how women- and child-sensitive social protection in migration contexts will empower women, promote gender equality, and contribute to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals. The session will include examples of successful women-and child-sensitive projects by Refugee-led Organizations (RLO) and offer specific recommendations for improving social protection in migration contexts. One-third of the time will be for information sharing and networking among session attendees.
