We do this by listening deeply to their needs, then together, we create safe and joyful programs that include preschools, soccer academies, employment opportunities, and training, all led by the affected communities themselves.

Digital Media and Marketing Specialist (PT)

The Digital Media and Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing iACT’s social media channels and coordinating digital marketing campaigns. This role includes the potential for travel and is best suited for a creative and passionate humanitarian. 


Responsibilities:

  • Produce compelling digital content in support of iACT’s mission, vision, and programs. 

  • Manage distribution on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, and YouTube.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital channels.

  • Interpret metrics and insights, using results to increase visibility and engagement across iACT’s channels, driving growth.

  • Engage regularly with our followers, building a sense of community.

  • Work with our team to boost their thought leadership and engagement on social platforms.

  • Collaborate on digital marketing and social media strategies with Communications Manager.

  • Create digital ads to be used through social media, Google Ads, MetaPixel, etc.

  • Manage iACT photography and video content.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in communications, media, marketing, or related field) or equivalent work experience

  • 2-3 years of digital/social media experience, including social media management and/or content creation

  • Fluent in English with the ability to comfortably communicate across social channels as the voice of the organization

  • A portfolio of work that demonstrates the  ability to manage social media accounts

  • Ability to adapt in an environment where world events can shift planned content

  • Experience working with basic video editing and translation software in order to create social content

  • Ability to edit photos and videos for digital marketing platforms 


Above & Beyond Qualifications:

  • A background in human rights, advocacy, NGOs, sports for development, or early childhood education

  • Proficiency in a second language: Armenian, French, Spanish, Sudanese Arabic

  • Experience in Adobe Premiere


Location:

This is a remote position, but candidates must be eligible to work in the US. 


Compensation:

This is a 20/hr a week position with a compensation rate of $27 to $30/hr.


Part-time position benefits:

  • 5 paid sick days per year

  • 10 paid vacation days per year
